Linen is a natural fabric produced from fibres of the flax plant. Sown in April, the plant produces delicate blue flowers in July and is harvested in August. Totally biodegradable and recyclable, linen is also the strongest and the most ecological of all natural fibres. Spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing linen require considerable experience at each stage of production.
Today, WFI is recognised as one of the finest and comprehensive actors on the linen market. Our finishing treatments include bleaching and dyeing in subtle and vibrant colours. We also offer recent developments such as enzymatic and aero finishes, softening, crease resistance finishes and coatings.
Our linen fabrics are manufactured from yarns of the highest quality, with average weights ranging from 90 to 400 grams per square meter, in different widths up to 122 inches wide.
Our fabrics can be delivered natural, white, yarn or piece dyed in different colour combinations and weaves.
